ambitious outsiders

Too many ambitious people grow up feeling like outsiders.

The world rewards conformity, while those hungry for more are forced to chase it alone. Walking off the beaten path, away from the crowd makes it hard to find your people : somewhere to feel you belong

A young founder working alone at a desk late at night, cold lighting, city lights beyond the window.

Entrepreneur isolation

Research shows that 76% of founders feel lonely. Even with a team of 20, a business owner can feel utterly alone because there are conversations that cannot be had with employees, fears that cannot be shared with investors, and doubts that cannot be voiced to family.

Broken networking

Meeting new people is hard. Meeting the right people is even harder. Modern networking is a shotgun, not a sniper, making it impossible to target your people. Long hours, locking in and remote working leave little opportunity for entrepreneurs to talk.

Social ?? Media

Thousands of followers, in theory more connected than ever - yet most conversations never start, and the ones that do stay on the screen. Modern social media was built for addictive consumption, not community or conversation.

GOALSINTERESTSSKILLS

You both said you’re interested in building stronger founder communities in Manchester. Unfortunately that’s quite difficult if neither of you starts the conversation. 👀

Haha, fair point.

Hi Oliver 👋

Mirror wasn’t wrong.

I’ve actually been looking to meet more founders locally.

Same here.

Most of my network is online.

Would be good to change that.

The unit of community

Circles

introductions help you find the person, circles take you to the community

Every post, discussion, event and resource lives inside a Circle - a focused community space dedicated to a shared goal, industry, obsession or group. Instead of disappearing into the feed, content becomes part of an ongoing conversation; conversation becomes connection; connection becomes community.

Start your own Circle, build one with friends, or join an existing community and become part of the conversation.

A groupfounded company

We know it works … because it's how we happened.

Three very different founders, one team. We met by chance: Louis worked for David, Niko was a major client, and over time those relationships became a partnership. Together, we built our first seven-figure business. We got lucky finding each other. Groupfound exists to make that kind of luck more likely.

Groupfound- verb

The collaborative act of founding a business, building a community, or connecting with individuals whose skills, experience and interests complement your own.

Mission & Philosophy
Groupfound opens the door to a global collective where entrepreneurs network, discover and inspire through community — one connection, one collaboration and one disciplined day at a time.

Collaboration

01

Great minds achieve more when they unite.

Every entrepreneur has strengths, but opportunity expands when they are combined. Competition gives way to collaboration; progress becomes a shared pursuit.

Kaizen

02

Small, consistent action leads to extraordinary success.

Progress, not perfection, defines greatness. It is not what you do once, but the compounding results of what you do every day.

Discipline

03

Motivation fades, but discipline is stronger.

Doing what you don't want to, when you don't want to do it. Choose what you want most, not what you want now.

Accountability

04

Growth comes from correction, not perfection.

You are responsible for your own success. Mistakes are chances to learn — but only if you have the courage to admit them.

Inspiration

05

Seeing what is possible opens your mind.

The actions of true leaders inspire others to dream more, learn more and do more. Inspiration ignites passion and gives you the courage to start.

Humility

06

Lift others as you climb.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

End the loneliness of ambition.

Connection over consumption.

Collaboration over competition.

Belonging over isolation.

Discipline over distraction.

Signal over noise.
